Because we found a dog that fits that description by the church. We’re fostering her until we can find her real owner. We decided to call her Martha, because she looks a lot like the TV character, Martha the talking dog, but cowboy calls her “Marfa”, hence the title of this post.

He is so cute! He’s a hamster named Freddie. If you click on him he’ll run on his tread-wheel. Click “more” to feed him. He is located on the side of my home page. I named him after one of my favorite book characters, Freddy the golden hamster. When I get a book list up, you can order one of these fantastic books about Freddy and his friends (you’re probably thinking, because of the title, that this is recommended for children, but it’s great for all ages). You can’t really pet Freddy, he’s just there. But, he’s fun to have around. I hope you like Freddy!
