These are called Bionicles. It’s a building toy by LEGO and collect them. The toys are based on a story by Greg Farshtey and the names are in a language called Matoran, so don’t be surprised if the names sound a little weird.

You’ve probably heard of the trick when you put the rubber band on the sink sprayer hose, right? Well, the other day I tried that prank on my sister, and forgot about it. Later that evening, my dad called me and said “Hey, Goro, while I’m getting this pot, would you turn on the water for me?”. Having forgotten about the sprayer, I turned on the water. I had to change shirts.
We were on our way back from the Special Olympics, when my dad decided it was a good time to annoy me. So he said “Hey, Goro, want to go to the Liver House! It’s a restaurant that serves only liver, with or without slime,”. Then my sister said “Doesn’t the liver make mucus?”. So then my dad said,”No that’s the-” I knew what he was about to say, and I wanted to annoy him back, so I said,”Let’s go to the International House of Pancreas.” No offense to I-HOP.
